Is money important in a relationship?
Firstly, I feel that money is just a factor of supporting the relationship, it is a matter of whether you want these relationships to have an everlasting ending. Money is indeed important in a relationship, however, I believe that in true love, these couples will trust in working on this factor together.

I would say yes, as many people lack a good pay to sustain the relationship. Also, this society is developing, and prices are rising. Money is the able to buy most of the things. However, the love within a relationship is priceless, hence people would never give up on their relationship, hence they would rather value money in order to keep the relationship going. I would say, it's not really the couples fault in valuing money over other qualities, as indeed, the economy is growing, prices are growing, everything is growing, except one thing, the people's pay are left the same.
Jie han, I agree with your points. But however, your answers are too superficial. It would be more interesting if you could elaborate further on your opinion such as giving examples.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I would like to add something that I recently read. It goes, "Money itself is not an evil. It is the unwholesome love for money that stultifies and corrupts." I would like to add on to my point that indeed, it is the love for money that affects relationships. Also another thing that I read was that, "Money cannot buy relationships. But money can bring happiness to your relationship." It goes something like that, which I feel it's rather meaningful, as indeed, relationships should be stayed happy within couples, and the easiest way is to lead a luxurious life, which can be achieved with money.

You seem to contradict yourself by saying that love is priceless, but people go for money. I think you are trying to say love is worthless? Otherwise, if love is priceless, it would definitely weigh more than any amount of money as it means that love cannot be bought by money. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!
